Motel life (pub MMM Photobooks, 2021)

Motel Life mixes the elements of the poetic with engaged documentary photography. The images show exteriors, interiors and the people who inhabit motels in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Photographed in both upmarket and budget accommodation, the images are strange, melancholic and poignant, and often seem to contain the feelings of the previous occupants.
